ZSX v2 is in development and not released yet. The app currently on the Microsoft Store is the legacy v1, published under its old name, TexSet. v2 is a ground-up rewrite — it shares almost no code with the legacy build — under a new name, a new design and a new stack.

Built around the idea that writing a paper shouldn't mean fighting your tooling or uploading your work to someone else's server. Everything runs on your machine.
v2 (in development) is cross-platform — macOS, Windows and Linux — and rebuilt on Tauri v2 with a Rust core, a React + TypeScript front end and Tectonic for LaTeX compilation. Not published anywhere yet.
